Internships Program for Overseas Students at The Ian Wark Research Institute

The Ian Wark Research Institute has an internship program available to senior undergraduate students from overseas universities/institutes to attend The Wark as part of their required study program.

Subject to project availability and funding, The Wark accepts approximately ten internship students each year. This internship period can last from four months up to one year. Internship students are paid a subsistence allowance of AU$250 per week and accommodation can be arranged (approximately AU$100 per week excluding meals). Please note that The Wark does not provide funds for travel.



Applications for 2006 are now closed. Applications for 2007 will commence in October 2006. Please note that due to very limited places for 2007, preference will be given to students whose home university/institute has an official agreement with The Wark (see list below) or UniSA.

Health Insurance Requirements
All internship students coming to The Wark are required to have sufficient health insurance cover.

Documentation Required From All Applicants
Students will need to supply a CV, academic results and two referees` reports before being considered for the program.
