Postdoctoral Research Associate in Gene Regulation, Northwestern University

We invite qualified applicants to join our ongoing studies in the gene regulation and structure-function studies on contractile and cytoskeleton proteins. Molecular biology, biochemistry, cell biology and/or cardiac physiology projects are available. The fully established laboratory is located in a newly constructed research facility. The position offers a competitive salary and benefit package.

The applicants should have a Ph.D. in molecular and cellular biology, biochemistry, physiology or genetics. Applicants with M.Sc. degree and outstanding experience will also be considered. Title and compensation level will be determined based on experience. Candidates with strong background in protein biochemistry, muscle physiology, and cell motility studies are especially encouraged to apply.

Individuals appointed to the Research Scientist position are eligible to apply for internal and external research grants and may be considered for Research Assistant Professor position at Northwestern University.
