Phd in the Faculty of Law, Business & Social Sciences, Glasgow University [UK]

Applications for Scholarships are invited for up to four PhD Scholarships, covering full fees and maintenance, in any of the key research themes:
  • Legal and political thought
  • Macroeconomics, business and finance
  • People, places and change
  • Public policy, governance and social justice
  • Work, ethics and technology

The PhDs may be held in any of the Faculty`s Departments: Accounting & Finance; Central & East European Studies; Centre for Drug Misuse Research; Economic & Social History; Economics; School of Law; Management; Politics; Sociology, Anthropology & Applied Social Sciences; Urban Studies.

Interested applicants should make initial contact with a Department, stating they are applying for a ASRF Scholarship.


The closing date is 1 May 2007 and successful candidates will be notified by 30th June. (Date of notification may be later for the School of Law.)
