[UK] Postgraduate Studentships in The School of Social and Political Studies, University of Edinburgh

Postgraduate Studentships Graduate School of Social and Political Studies.

The Graduate School has a large, vibrant and highly research active complement of 180 academic staff and over 400 postgraduate students, and is based in one of the most beautiful cities in Europe. We have a range of funding opportunities available for PhD students for a September 2007 start, and welcome inquiries about these from UK, EU and overseas applicants. We are one of the leading social science research universities in the UK, and a recognised ESRC and AHRC research training body for MSc by Research and PhD degrees. All awards may be held on a full- or part-time basis.

Awards now available for Home/EU or International Applicants:

* One PhD Award for Narrative and Autobiographical Studies (Home/EU fees plus stipend for three years)
* Seven School of Social and Political Studies PhD scholarships (Home/EU fees
only for three years)

Deadline for applications for these awards: 31st March 2007.
